Bride’s Feathers

Walk along the trails of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and delight in the countless bride’s feathers.  These wildflowers, also known as yellow goat’s beard, have just started to bloom.  Get out there and enjoy a splash from Lake Michigan, warmth of sand on your feet, and the blooming of sunflowers.

Wild and Blue

The abundance of graceful wildflowers along the trails leaves me enraptured and wondering what I just captured with a click of the shutter.  A search on the internet helps in learning the name of wildflowers such as this Wild Blue Phlox.
