Watching Without Imposing

This deer seemed just as  curious of us as we were of her at the Friendship Botanic Gardens.  I sighed in relief and happiness that she stayed long enough for me to get a shot even if it is not super sharp.

One More Second

Often, I come across rabbits while hiking along the trails but they quickly hop away.  Badly wanting this rabbit as a focal point for my shot, I found myself whispering as I approached very slowly,

“Just hold still for one more second. . . . please?”

Without Hindrance

In spite of temperatures in the single digits and a light snowfall, Coffee Creek has not slowed down much and is flowing without hindrance.

Art in Nature

Often while hiking, it is the tiniest of things that catches my attention.  Art in nature may be as simple as a curly branch,
